Participants will need to apply online at hudsonlibrary.org for one of the 10-minute time slots available for this “shark tank” style program. 
Online applications must be received by Monday, October 30, 2017.

The seven finalists chosen to pitch will be notified by Monday, November 6. A $3,000 cash prize will be awarded to the first place winner, second place will receive $1,500 and third place will receive $500.

APPLICATIONS CLOSE ON FRIDAY OCTOBER 20TH

FUEL by The Bit Factory is a competition for entrepreneurs. Any software startup can apply for a chance to present at the competition. Winning startups will pitch investor sharks and negotiate a $10,000 investment as well as quick admittance into our exclusive accelerator that will help fast track you to success.
Startup Weekend is a 54 hour event, where attendees pitch ideas, form teams and start companies. These events are very community focused and provide a place for budding entrepreneurs to find co-founders, mentors and momentum for their ideas.
Other interesting stuff
The Cleveland Medical Hackathon (#clemedhack) will bring together doctors, nurses, researchers, public health workers along with IT professionals over an intense 24-hour period at the Global Center for Health Innovation on October 21-22, 2017.

Teams will present their solutions for cash prizes and an opportunity to discuss their findings during the 15th Annual Medical Innovation Summit immediately following the Hackathon.

Students and professionals in IT, healthcare, patient advocacy, startup business, government and more are encouraged to apply

Launched in 2015, Cleantech UP builds on its precursor, the DOE National Clean Energy Business Plan Competition, which expanded student engagement in clean energy technologies from 2011 to 2015. Since the competition started, participants have formed more than 200 ventures, created 120+ jobs, and raised more than $120 million in follow-on funding.
