So I got pooped on by a bird this weekend.
I was strolling down Pike Place, taking in the scenery and enjoying the sun, when all of a sudden I felt as though a little bug had bumped into my abdomen. I glanced down to see no bug, but instead a smear of questionable debris. And on my white silky button down no less. That's when I knew, the birds finally got me.
Although seemingly unfortunate in the moment, this provided me with an opportunity to explore a new store and find something new to wear. And what I found has already become a staple in my wardrobe.
Moral of the story: things happen for a reason. It may feel bleak in the moment, but it's leading towards a brighter path.
