It takes an incredible amount of courage to risk starting your own business and just like it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a community to support a business. Let's spend our Friday lunch time being a piece of this supportive community. 
The Grit Awards celebrate the accomplishments of local companies, businesses, organizations, and people that are elevating our community. Nominations Due by February 27, 2020.
EDUCATION FROM THE EXPERTS
JumpStart offers free educational workshops on a wide variety of topics, from capital readiness and go-to-market strategy to financial projections and growth planning. In order to provide the most value to participants, our workshops are focused on specific types of businesses at specific stages of growth.
Competitions, Events, Opportunities
The ideal candidate is someone who has an interest in start-up businesses and would like to evaluate start-ups for potential investment. This person likely has had an interest in business plan competitions or similar type entrepreneurial events. In addition, this individual must be a strong communicator who is able to work autonomously to complete assigned tasks.

The intern will be expected to work out of the OIF offices in Columbus, OH as well as be able to drive to other locations across the state for external events. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all positions are filled.

Each spring, we invite students from around the world to pitch ideas for conscious capitalism ventures that make a profit while also solving a problem. Winners take home thousands of dollars to help make their ideas come true.

e-Fest® and the Schulze Entrepreneurship Challenge starts with an online competition. Undergraduate students in North America are encouraged to form teams and submit their venture pitches, for a chance at a quarter million dollars in prizes.
If you're interested in technology, this is a great chance to build up your resume and get experience with companies on the cutting-edge! You can be studying in any area, from STEM to business, communications, marketing and design. 

These are paid internships with a minimum of $15 an hour but you can negotiate for more, and we'll connect you with the companies.
