A stress-free, low stakes open mic night for founders and creatives to share their ideas, practice their personal or business pitches, and connect with other like-minded go-getters. This is a wonderful opportunity for entrepreneurs to pitch their idea, network, and gain valuable and constructive feedback.
Students will have 90 seconds to share a business pitch to an audience and group of judges for the chance to win funds from a prize pool of $2,000! This event features local entrepreneurs and experts as the judges and has launched the business ventures of Kent State students.
This speaker series is for early-stage entrepreneurs to connect with founders who have been in their shoes and are making their businesses happen in the real world.
This month, we are focusing on book publishing and featuring Terri Stefanko & Kori Morgan! Terri is a Kent State instructor, illustrator, and artist who recently wrote, illustrated, designed, and published two books. Kori is a published author, copywriter, and content strategist, as well as the founder of Inkling Creative Strategies. Free lunch for all attendees!
