As the semester winds down, don't forget to take some time to BREATHE and don't get overwhelmed! It's a busy time of year, especially for students and student entrepreneurs, we know, so we're taking it easy on you this week.
But do check out the competitions we've found: bookmark them so you can get cracking on those applications when you're done with finals!
Your advisors will be around until December 22, when the campus closes until New Years. We'll be back before classes begin, as well, so take advantage of the down time to get ahead on your venture!
EO Cleveland Global Student Entrepreneur Awards- Eligibility: 1. Be enrolled as an undergraduate in a university/college at the time of their application 2. Have been operating a for-profit business for at least six months with a revenue criteria of US$500 or US$1000 investment/backing.
Deadline to Apply for Cleveland EO GSEA Competition: December 2016
Our theme this year for the event is "Rewind, Rethink, React," therefore not only must we look at where we've been as a human race, but how we react to events today.

The compact, one-day Challenge brings approximately 60 exceptional students and their coaches/mentors together for Business Plan and Fast Pitch competitions. The teams will compete for more than $100,000 in prizes by presenting their concepts to a panel of judges comprised of venture capitalists, angel investors and successful entrepreneurs from three states.
The Deadline to apply: Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017 at Noon (EST)
Student teams can enter seven-minute videos and 15 slides detailing their business ideas by February 17, 2017. Judges will select 25 finalist teams to participate in e-Fest. The teams with the three best business ideas will receive $100,000, $50,000 and $25,000 in prizes, with an additional $10,000, $5,000 and $2,500 in grants going to their universities to support entrepreneurship education.
The online form for team submissions will open in mid January 2017.

Challenge.gov is a listing of challenge and prize competitions, all of which are run by more than 100 agencies (and more than 170 congressional offices) across federal government.
These include technical, scientific, ideation, and creative competitions where the U.S. government seeks innovative solutions from the public, bringing the best ideas and talent together to solve mission-centric problems.
