We need about 30 students, staff, and/or faculty members to help out with a STEM-focused entrepreneurship and innovation program aimed at high schoolers!
The event takes place on Tuesday, October 29, and you will be needed from 10:45am - 1pm. [Even if you have class until 11, please sign up!]
You will be helping to facilitate a table of students working on an innovative solution. Lunch will be served and anyone who helps out will also receive a $25 Visa gift card!
Are you ready for another SkyHack? SkyHack is a weekend long event in which students will come together to provide a solution to a challenge or “pain point” relating to the aviation industry.

If you're interested in technology, this is a great chance to build up your resume and get experience with companies on the cutting-edge! You can be studying in any area, from STEM to business, communications, marketing and design. These are paid internships with a minimum of $15 an hour but you can negotiate for more, and we'll connect you with the companies.
WHAT: A fun, competitive contest to develop innovative ideas in the areas of content development, revenue generation, audience engagement and collaboration. Winning ideas have the chance to receive funding to launch their ideas within Kent State Student Media.
WHEN: Contest opens Sept. 16th and closes Oct. 27th at 11:59 p.m., with final judging to be completed by Dec. 4, 2018
WHO: All currently enrolled Kent State University students are invited to pitch. Entrants do not have to be connected to a Student Media partner, though they are encouraged to collaborate as they see fit.

THINKBIG: Employment & Entrepreneurship at Kent State Stark THINKBIG is a day of county-wide community conversations.
