CONGRATS to our micro-grant recipients!

In response to the pandemic and the inability to hold in-person competitions and other entrepreneurial support activities, LaunchNET Kent State looked for novel yet meaningful ways to support Kent State's student entrepreneurs this semester. These Spring 2021 pivots included a virtual, cohort-based program called Black Women Bosses and a Launch micro-grant program offering $99-$500 for business advancement.

KSU Faculty Entrepreneurs Forum: April 27 3-4pm

The purpose of this panel is to share the experiences and best practices of faculty around the region who have become faculty entrepreneurs.

LaunchNET Kent State extends entrepreneurial reach with renewed funding from Burton D. Morgan Foundation

Thanks to the renewal of their key funding grant, LaunchNET Kent State will continue to inspire the entrepreneur mindset and support innovative thinkers across the Kent State University community. Burton D. Morgan Foundation announced an award of up to $350,000 will be granted to support the LaunchNET initiative at Kent State University through June 2023.

The entry point into collaborative design-infused problem-solving. Our goal is to grow and offer Cross-disciplinary Course Offerings - Project-based learning that relies on multiple perspectives and Studios that will engage stakeholders and industry, and may include travel components.
